How to use Dont use the LED under condition that lens need to bear pressure,otherwise the gold wire in LED will break. Storage: Storage condition unsealed : TA30 degree Celsius; 40%RH<H<60%RH Sealed: TA<40 degree Celsius; H<90%RH Note:TA indicates environmental temperature, H indicates environmental humidity Storage time Unsealed:The storage time can not be more than 3 months in the defined temperature and humidity. Sealed: The storage time can not be more than 12 months in the defined temperature and humidity. Cautions: Please use it ASAP after opening the package so as to avoid being exposed to corrosive gas and humid air, in order to avoid pin oxidation affects welding. welding Pin molding Pin molding should be operated below 2mm region (as shown) so as to avoid damaging the lens. While pin molding, recommend using of specialized tools (such as: flat pliers, etc.). Pin molding Should avoid direct hand touch pin, so as not to affect welding quality. Pin molding must be completed prior to welding. 2 Welding 1)Manual welding (not recommended) a) Welding instrument: It is recommended to use thermostat electric soldering iron, The Maximum power of electric soldering iron does not exceed 30W b) Welding conditions: The Maximum welding temperature shall not exceed 300 degree celsius, welding time may not be more than 3 seconds, and welding position should be at least 2mm away from the lens. 3) Wave soldering: please refer to the Fig of welding curve of wave soldering 4) Rework a) When rework, The welding temperature shall not exceed 260 degree celsius, welding time may not be more than 5 seconds. b) The top of the soldering iron should not touch the PCB copper foil c) It is recommended to use the two head soldering iron. 5) Welding NOTES: a) When Welding, do not exert external forces on the pin. b) After welding, be sure to make the products avoid being exerted external forces or vibration before the temperature returned to room temperature. c) After welding, the leg should be cut after the temperature returned to room temperature, so as to avoid product failures. Tinning Soldering Tinning 1.Two types of tinning conditions: 2605 degree celsius/5s, using Maximum 30W thermostat soldering iron at 3 seconds (with 1.6mm as Test Samples) 2.Do not to impose too much pressure or mechanical force to the lens or lead frame when tinning. 3.When the LED lined up in the PCB board, dont tin the two legs of a LED at the same time
Cleaning 1.At normal temperature, cleansing LED with alcohol, Freon or chlorosilane shall not be more than 1 minutes 2. Dont use the unclearly stated organic solvents, it is likely to lead to the lens cracking or surface diffused. Preset the current For the LED working in the normal condition, pls add the preventing resistance. Numerical value can be calculated by the following ways for reference, Vs-VF R= ----------------- IF Remark: Vs (the voltage of the power) Vf (the voltage of LED) If (the current of LED, 10-20mA generally) Intensity For the consistency of LED intensity, the current should be stable. It can keep the high consistency of LED intensity for using high power supply voltage and protective resistance. Static Prevention Avoid touching the products by hands directly, anti-static glove or hand-ring with wire is necessary. Suggest using anti-static table cloth which is connected on the floor on the work table. All of the tools and equipment like electric soldering iron, the leg cutter, tinny oven, need to be connected on the floor. Pack the product into the anti-static box for components. Remark: green, bluish green, white, purple, amaranthine LED are all first-grade anti-static components. We must pay more attention to the anti-static measure in the operating process. |
